Thomas began taking Karate lessons last week. He loves it! He is learning all about karate (kata). He has done very well listening and paying attention to the instructor. It is very structured which is good for Thomas. He is currently working on earning his white belt by completing his three "home hero" tasks, learning his white belt stances (dachi), and practicing his student creed. He absolutely loves his karate uniform- he thinks he is a Ninja Turtle. I am so proud! After he completes a round of exercises, kicks, or punches, he will just smile and give me a little thumbs up. I know he feels so accomplished. He is the smallest one in the class but has the all the confidence in the world. He goes to his class twice a week. I put a few pictures on here that I have taken so far. I'll keep you updated on his progress.
