Florida! We had a great time! We couldn't have asked for better weather the entire trip. It was so relaxing, even with a 5 and 10 year old! They had the best time. They both just love the beach and would have stayed there all day if we had let them. They both bought body boards for the ocean and Thomas really thought he was a surfer. We were out at the beach by 9am everyday and ended each day at a different restautrant...eating way too much! This year we took the boys to the beach at dusk/nightfall which we hadn't done before. They thought it was pretty cool and I just love the pictures. We also went out on a dolphin cruise this year. They both liked it till we got out of the bay and out into the ocean- the water was rough and the waves pretty high. At least high enough to cause a little motion sickness, even though they both had dramamine! We did get to see some dolphins, although I think the boys were focusing more on the thought of the boat capsizing! While we were out in the bay, the captain let both of the boys come in the wheelhouse and drive the boat; that was exciting for them both. We spent lots of time at the beach and in the pool but the boys weren't leaving the beach till we took a spin on the go-karts. Thomas has been looking so forward to this trip because he knew he would be tall enough this year to ride them by himself. He was so excited! After some pointers on racing from Dad, he hopped right in and was ready to go. We thought for sure he would be so reckless and try to wreck the others. To our surprise, he gently pushed the gas pedal and went about as fast as a 95 year old! However, he really thought he was doing something and I guess it seem to him like he was going fast; we got a great laugh! We came back home on my birthday after eating a big buffet breakfast at the resort garden cafe. It was yummy! We are already looking forward to next year or Craig would say, the countdown has begun!
