A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.......

.....one little boy had a super Stars Wars fun filled day! Today was his last day of "freedom" before he begins school on Wednesday. I let him decide whatever he wanted to do today. He wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch (they have the latest Star Wars toys in the Happy Meals), he was so happy he got the Anakin toy! -then it was on the movies. He couldn't wait to see the new Stars Wars Clone Wars movie. We went to the new outdoor shopping center and cinema in Hendersonville. He loved it! I'm more of a fan of the original SW movies but it made me happy just to see his excitement. Of course, he picked out his favorite Star Wars shirt to wear today and had to take his lightsaber everywhere we went- (you just never know when Darth Vader may show up!) After the movie, he wanted to go play in the water fountains there at the shopping center. He had the best time! Luckily, we had a change of clothes with us- he was absolutely soaked. He was completely worn out by the time we headed home and fell asleep about 5 minutes into the drive. I'm happy he enjoyed this last fun day with Mom before school starts- where has the summer gone???

Tomorrow is the BIG day- He is a little uncertain about this whole Kindergarten thing. We are trying to really be positive about it, but truth be known, Mommy would just assume he stay home with me! I'll keep you posted.
