We hope everyone had a wonderful (and sweet!) Valentine's Day! Thomas had his Valentine's party at school on Friday. He was so excited. He took his valentine box he made, adorned with Spiderman and Batman of course. He loved reading the names of all of his friends while passing out his valentines. We ate lunch and then came back to the room for party games. I was in charge of the cookie making station. All of the kids had a great time decorating their sugar cookies with lots of icing and sprinkles. And eating them!
Saturday morning, Thomas woke up with a bit of a tummy ache (from way too much sugar on Friday, I'm sure). He got up in our bed and snuggled for a while and watched cartoons. He was feeling better by lunch so we all headed out to Red Robin, a gourmet hamburger place in Hendersonville. It was super yummy! We all ate way too much! Then, it was off to do some Valentine shopping. Thomas couldn't wait to spend his money that Nanny and Pa sent him for Valentine's day. He bought a new Spiderman toy- I was sure we had them all- but he found a new one. Hope everyone had a great day with their sweethearts, I certainly did!
