Well- it was our first introduction to the demanding world of the Dixie Youth Baseball League! Thomas had 2 games Friday night and 4 games Saturday. Yes, it was 40 degrees outside! I thought baseball was a warm weather sport! He had alot of fun~ this was a pre-season tournament that gave them great practice at working as a team! They made it through four 1/2 games before it starting pouring rain on Sat. His team won 3 of the 4 games they completed. Now he has a runny nose and cough~ go figure! This Friday is the Grand Opening of the Baseball Season Jamboree with his first official game on Saturday afternoon. He is excited! I have posted a few pictures from the tourney and of his essential baseball gear that all 8 year old All-stars must have! Go Cardinals!!
