Happy Halloween!!

Thomas at his Fall Fun party at school.

Thomas has been eagerly awaiting Halloween! His Obi-Wan Kenobi costume has been hanging in his closet for well over a month just waiting for it's big debut. Thomas started out the day with a special Krispy Kreme Pumpkin face donut- sugar, right from the start! He had a Fall Fun day at school where they played games, painted pumpkins, and had an ice cream party! He had a great time with his friends. Mommy got to go eat lunch with him and then go to the party. After school, we hurried to get his costume on and up to the newspaper. They were taking pictures for the local newspaper, The Robertson County Times, of children in their Halloween costumes. It is in the city square where all the businesses were also handing out candy, so we were already trick-or- treating at 4:00!

Finally, it started getting dark and all the neighborhood trick-or- treaters were emerging. We went up and down two streets in our subdivision and he was ready to come home and hand out what we had bought. He parked his chair and the big bowl of candy right at the front door. He loved handing out candy- even more than getting it I think. He got lots of comments on his costume, it is pretty funny! He absolutely loves it. He spent most of the night chasing all the kids dressed as "storm troopers" with his lightsaber. He got lots of candy, more than he will ever eat. I hope you all had a fun and happy Halloweeen.
